Hi. My name is Becky. I'm wife to my best friend. We've been married for 15 years. We have 4 children- ages 13, 11, 9, and 4. I love to be a wife and mother. I like to read, go places with my family, and do "projects". One of my biggest hobbies is digital scrapbooking. I design and sell at Stuff to Scrap. I love all the adventures I've been on and look forward to many more!
I've decided to join in with Nibbles Skribbles for her fundraiser for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. So, all proceeds of my sales today go towards that. Besides Nibbles Skribbles, The Latest Scoop, Too is also participating. So head over to shop- it's for a good cause! Click flier to go to my store:
And, speaking of stores, there is a sale at STS this weekend- everything 30% off. But my whole store is 50% off right now! (And everything purchased today goes to the charity) Head on over! (Click preview to go to store)
And, Monday there is a SS at STS. Here are the details as well as the participation prize:
Today's freebie is the religious part of the "I Heart Primary" kit. Like I mentioned earlier in the week, this kit was inspired by the children's organization in our church. Today's freebie will be a "forever free" download. It was the most sentimental for me to do. I love Primary!
To purchase the whole kit (with coordinating papers, elements, and alpha), click here. To just download the small forever free mini-kit, click on the image: Click here to go get the religious part of Kathy's kit. I must just say that I have LOVED doing a kit with Kathy. She is a fabulous designer! Really, one of the best. And it was my privilege to work with her! Thanks, Kathy!
I wanted to put a close up of one of the QP's. It is great because those of you who don't have access to a program, such as photoshop, can simply print this out. There are two different ones. They are in 4x6. Please feel free to use these however you see fit in your primary, or other classes you teach. Please don't sell them or use them in any defamatory way. And, if you have friends who would like this, please direct them here, as it will always be a free download! (I filled in the details. The one in the download you can fill in your own info- by hand or in photoshop) I do hope you all enjoyed this kit. I loved making it! I'd LOVE to see any layouts you make with it! You can email me at: SAHMScrapper@gmail.com.
I really appreciate all the comments from everyone! You have all made my day--every day!! Today you get some QP's! Click each of the images to go get them. Don't forget to leave your thanks to my wonderful CT!
Tomorrow is an especially fun freebie. I'll give you a hint. If you like the religious part of the kit, make sure to come back tomorrow! I would sure hate for you to miss out on the best part!!
This week, Kat aka The Scrappy Kat, has a very cute kit on her blog for free. It's called "Owl-o-Ween". I downloaded it and made a cute page. Here's my page: Click this preview to go get the kit on Kat's blog. Oh, it's a collab, so when you get there, she'll have where to get more good stuff, too.
Today you get the alphas for "I Heart Primary". I hope you are enjoying the kit. I'd love to see layouts you've made! Click to download and then head over to Kathy's blog to get hers. Before you download, though, check out these cute layouts! Nikki's: Mine: We still have 2 more days of freebies! So come back tomorrow for QP's and Friday for a surprise! Don't forget to leave some love!
Now, on to some more cute layouts from my CT. This one is done by Nikki. I love how she made the pink paper the shape of the bracket-frame. And I love the tag on the left. Cute!
Here is another layout by Dana. I really like how she weaved the swirly into the letters. I'm really into weaving, since it is a little more difficult than just putting things on the paper.
Today I have two kits to tell you about. First up is a new kit collab by Brittney and Nicole. It's a birthday kit. I did my first 8 1/2 x11 page (I'm catching up on 2007!). And I love how it turned out. Here's are my layouts:
Here is the kit. Click on it to go get it in the store.
I have a freebie BB page from the kit too. If you go to Brittney's or Nicole's blog, they will both have a list of blogs to get a whole bunch of BB pages! Click preview to download.
Next up is my new kit. It's a collab with Kathy, aka The Latest Scoop, Too. It's a kit inspired by the younger age group in our church. It's called "primary". Each year there is a different theme to focus on. Next year the theme is "I know my Savior Loves Me". Children ages 3-11 attend primary each week and learn about Jesus and other good values to have. I used to be in charge of the "primary" when I lived in the mid-west and I miss it so much! But I had a blast making this kit! The colors are awesome and can be used for any occasion, not just religious. I always love a kit with pink and red in it, as I have girls who like pink, but I prefer red! Before you get to my paper download, here are a few layouts from my CT. I'm going to post a few every day.
Dana's first layout. I love the curve in the bottom paper. Her little girl goes to "primary" and this was the first activity she went to. So cute!:
Jamie's layout. Isn't this just precious? I love baby pictures! My layout. After I had made this kit, I went to do a layout and found it perfect for these pictures! (QP of this later in the week!)
You can click on the paper preview to download and then click on Kathy's preview to go to her site to download. Don't forget to leave some love. And there will be free downloads all week- Monday through Friday. So come back each day!
I just started working on pictures from 2007. That was how far I got paper-scrapping. I started digi-scrapping for 2008. I always thought I'd finish paper-scrapping 2007, but as of yet, I have not. So I decided to digi-scrap the rest of the year, but I need to finish in the same size I started. This is my second set of layouts with the 8 1/2 by 11. The first layout I did I will be posting next week when Brittney has a new kit coming out.
So, here is what I did with "Happy Haunting" by Blue Maige Designs:
Here's the kit. Click on it to go get it at Pretty Scrappy:
Here is my second template freebie for the week. Click on it to download. Don't forget to leave love! I still plan on one or two more templates this week, so come back later on!
(PS If this looks familiar, it's because it's pretty close to the layout from the kit "Snuggle" from EEAM, a few posts down:)
Hello! I have a few things to tell you all about. First, Kathy (The Latest Scoop, Too) has some fabulous new products in the Stuff to Scrap store starting today. Click on the image to go get them in her store:)
Many of us have been touched by cancer, in some form, in one way or another. That is why several Stuff To Scrap designers decided to collaborate to design the kit Rainbow of Hope. All proceeds from the sale of this kit and it's coordinating Quick Page Set will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Great effort was made not to exclude any forms of cancer in the making of this kit. The kit includes 60 papers, 76 elements and an alpha. There are awareness ribbons in each of the colors represented. The colors chosen for this kit represent the following forms of cancer.
Orange: leukemia Yellow: Liver cancer, bladder cancer, osteosarcoma Green: kidney cancer Blue: colon cancer Purple: pancreatic cancer, cancer in general White bone cancer Black: melanoma Brown: colorectal cancer Grey: brain cancer Lime green: lymphoma Teal: ovarian, cervical and uterine cancers Burgundy: multiple myeloma Periwinkle: stomach cancer Pink: breast cancer Light blue: prostate cancer Pearl: lung cancer
And, last but not least, there is a speed scrap tonight at Stuff to Scrap.
Christi of Designs with Christi and I are the Designing Divas. Many of the kits we release will be joint kits, which means you get the creativity of 2 amazing designers all in one kit!
Have a great weekend getting lots of candy!
