Gleefully Wicked, a new kit (with a freebie!)

Today I have a new kit out called Gleefully Wicked. When I was in Designer Survivor a few months back, our group did a kit called Gleefully Wicked. Well, to make a long story short, I wasn't even remotely satisfied with my part. So I decided to re-do it and make it into a full kit.

In 2008, Wicked-the Musical, first drew my interest. I got the CD soundtrack and started listening to it and I was hooked! One of the things I love about it is that it is child friendly. A few friends of mine and I decided to go to Wicked in the summer of 2008. I had a 4 month old, so I figured I needed to take her, and my 10 year old daughter decided that for her birthday she wanted to go with us. So we woke up really early one Saturday morning and drove to Chicago. We rode the subway, walked along the streets, went to the American Girl store (where my daughter got her first American Girl doll!), and while one of my friends watched my baby, we went to the matinee of Wicked. It was so good! A few months later when my parents flew in to visit, I convinced them to go see it and I took my boys to them so they could see it too. Needless to say, we are Wicked fans at our house.

OK, on to this kit. Here is a preview of it. There is a freebie in the STS store because it is the Use it or Lose it kit this month. The whole kit is on sale for $2.50 this month. And when you buy the kit, you get the cardstocks for free- but only for this week. After this week, the cardstocks will be $1 with kit purchase. Make sure to use code:sahm_gwfreecardstocks to get the worn and wrinkled papers free. Come back tomorrow for some freebie QP's and wordart from my CT!! Click on the images to go get the kit:

Now, here is some inspiration- over 20 layouts made from this kit!

Here is me and my daughter waiting for Wicked to start:
Here we are after the show.
Amy's (2) I love how she used the frames kind of by each other. And what a cutie in the second layout!

Chrissy (2) Gotta love pictures with older people in them. And I love her Halloween picture in the second layout.

Christi. I like the white space around the layout and the different layers behind the photo.
Colleen(2) Look at where she put her little girl in the bottom picture of this layout! So cute. And I LOVE the second layout with the black background and lots of pink and red!

Diantha(2) For those of you who haven't discovered Wicked yet, there are plenty of ways to use this kit. Check these two witch-themed layouts out!

Geri. Great pictures, huh? I like the ric rac that separates them.
Jacque. Love the cluster and those pictures are so cute!
Jessica. Hard to believe you can get so many completely different layouts with this kit! A couple layouts up, Colleen only used black, pink and red. Here, Jessica uses white, black, and greens. Love it!
Lauren. This has to be the cutest snowman I've ever seen! I love how she framed it.
Misty. Great photo blending. Love the colors.
Stephanie (2) This story is awesome! I love kits with blue, purple, black, orange, etc lips! And I love the pictures of her two boys in the layout below.

Tammy. Yay! A Wizard of Oz layout! I love the pictures and how she hung the button and bow.
Tricia(2) Again- same kit, two totally different layout feels using different colors. I like the rows of ric rac and ribbon in this layout and the gears used as background in the layout below!

Thanks for looking! See you tomorrow!
